For a year and a half now, the Hard Rock Café has been located on the Promenade des Anglais. The American restaurant is planning some great concerts for the first quarter of the year. There will also be the traditional charitable works and events related to the carnival. A promising start to the year.
“This year, it’s the band Imagine Dragons that is featured on our t-shirts,” says Anthony Matteuzzi, marketing coordinator of Hard Rock Cafe Nice. The t-shirt he’s talking about is the Signature Series.
Every year, a band or musician partners with the brand to create a garment. “But it’s above all to help a charitable organization. Every artist chooses who they want to support by selling these t-shirts. This year, the money is donated to a charity for children with cancer,” explains Anthony Matteuzzi. This collection can be found in the Hard Rock Cafe store.
Guitars on the wall, drums behind showcase windows, and posters of great musicians… The famous restaurant is also a place dedicated to music.
“Apart from these concerts, the Hard Rock Cafe is also a producer, so it is launching a large music competition,” says the coordinator. It’s the Hard Rock Rising Contest. In total, 9 bands will be selected by internet users on the restaurant’s website.
These bands will perform on Thursdays, March 12, 19, and 26. “A jury will select the best of the 3 bands each evening, and a final is organized on April 2. The winner of the competition will earn 1,000 dollars and will perform in front of more than 60,000 people at the Hard Rock Rising Festival in Barcelona on July 24 and 25,” explains Anthony Matteuzzi.

But the Hard Rock Cafe also knows how to adapt to its environment. That’s why several days and evenings are planned during the Carnival. “We are organizing breakfasts on March 1. And then, on the closing night of the carnival, we’ll celebrate at the restaurant starting at 9 p.m.,” explains Anthony Matteuzzi, eagerly anticipating this program full of entertainment.
