On vacation or passing through Nice, Nadine Morano did not miss the opportunity to spread her theories on immigration in an interview with the local daily newspaper.
Her profound thought boils down to proposing the creation of a “public service for repatriation to the country of origin” for those denied asylum and “chosen immigration” for those escaping their African countries for economic reasons.
By mentioning the Second World War, she draws a comparison between this massive exodus from war-torn countries and the two World Wars of 1914-18 and 1939-45!
It’s hard to find a worse example!!!
Self-proclaimed defender of French identity, the European deputy exhibits bad faith, outrageousness, ignorance, and intolerance bordering on intellectual indecency.
Reducing such a complex problem to a simple bar counter slogan demonstrates foolishness. Nadine Morano brilliantly passes her trial by fire, and her statements rank high on the flop list.
Perhaps someone in her party might suggest she connect at least two neurons before speaking. It seems to work better.
In the meantime, since demographic statistics tell us that in the next fifteen years, 300 to 400 million Africans will reach working age, Nadine Morano could ponder the issue of “her” chosen immigration and share her formula with us…
According to the latest Eurobarometer survey, immigration is currently the main problem facing the European Union: 38% of respondents think it should be their government’s top priority, compared to 24% in the previous Eurobarometer last fall.
The issue “has moved to the top of the political agenda as thousands of migrants from North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa cross the Mediterranean in search of a better life in Europe,” writes EUobserver.
According to Frontex, the EU border surveillance agency, 153,000 migrants entered Europe in the first six months of the year, a 150% increase compared to the same period in 2014.
