The Neighborhood Carnival is the counterpart of the grand parades at Place Masséna and the Promenade des Anglais. The life of the city is born from its neighborhoods where, on their scale, one finds conviviality and the pleasure of sharing enjoyable moments.
Nice Carnival and Neighborhood Carnival: The two will join forces during the three weeks of this unique celebration that makes Nice an international signature.
An international signature that demonstrates, once again, the importance of giving value to life in the neighborhoods and territories that make up the city. From the seaside through the city center to the hills, Carnival will be everywhere!

Territory Plaine and Coteaux
La Vallière neighborhood Carnival: Monday, February 24: meet at 1:30 p.m. in front of CAL La Vallière, 46 rue Auguste Pégurier.
Les Moulins/ St Augustin neighborhood Carnival: Friday, February 28: meet at 2 p.m. in front of the Bois de Boulogne school.
Territory Nice Hills
Neighborhood Carnival: Tuesday, February 18: from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Rue de France between Rue Honoré Sauvan and Boulevard Gambetta
Territory Three Hills
Children’s Carnival: Tuesday, February 18: with the participation of Paule d’Essling, Arènes de Cimiez, Bellanda, and Saint Exupéry schools.
Meet from 2 p.m. in the upper part of the Jardin des Arènes de Cimiez to watch the parade of costumed children. Confetti battles are only allowed on the paved paths of the Jardin des Arènes.

Carnival at the gates of Nice North and Heart of Town : Thursday, February 27
“VELOU, VELOU, es carneval”
From 2 p.m., gathering at Square Doyen Lépine.
Grand parade with floats, big heads, dancers, and musicians up to the forecourt of Gare du Sud where various animations will take place. A parade of carnival troupes will walk along the following route: Square Doyen Lépine, Avenue St Lambert, Rue Grammont, Rue Villermont, Rue Raiberti, Place Général de Gaulle, Boulevard Joseph Garnier, Rue de la Gare du Sud, towards the forecourt of Gare du Sud where animations will happen.
From 4 p.m., a snack will be offered to participating children on the forecourt of Gare du Sud.
AUBADE at LAS PLANAS: Tuesday, February 18 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Place J.H.Fabre
AUBADE Place Goiran: Tuesday, March 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: near the children’s garden.
Territory Heart of Town Carnival in the Heart of Town: Tuesday, February 18, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: “VELOU, VELOU, es carneval”
Meet from 2 p.m. at boulevard Raimbaldi, side of avenue Jean Médecin.
From 2:30 p.m., a parade of carnival troupes will stroll along the following route: boulevard Raimbaldi, rue Lépante, Avenue Notre Dame, rue Lamartine to end at square Deudon (behind Nice Etoile).
Grand parade with big heads, dancers and musicians, and a final confetti battle.

Friday, February 21, 2014, at 2 p.m.: Neighborhood carnival chemin de la Madonette Terron organized by the Festival Committee of la Madonette.
Monday, February 24: at 10 a.m. Aubade in the Caucade neighborhood from CAL Ste Marguerite to the annex town hall with the participation of CAL Caucade and Ste Marguerite; at 11 a.m. Aubade in Carras neighborhood
