Final meeting today for the Nice City Council before a summer break that is likely to be very studious with the upcoming municipal elections in 2014. On today’s agenda: the Francophone Games, the Allianz Riviera, the PNRQAD Notre-Dame/Vernier/Thiers, and the adoption of the multi-annual program for access to permanent employment.
Before heading to sandy beaches for some or snow-capped peaks for others, several decisions await the deputies and municipal councilors of the city of Nice at this city council meeting. Thus, tomorrow, Friday from 8:30 AM, and live on www.nice.fr, the debates, which are already anticipated to be quite extensive, will begin.
The upcoming Francophone Games from September 7 to 15 in Nice will of course be a topic, with the provision of sports and cultural facilities and the active participation of the city of Nice in this event. On the sports side, Alain Philip will present the authorization to sign the agreement for the provision of the Allianz Riviera to OGC Nice, while Joรซlle Martinaux will present a Partnership Agreement with the Community Social Action Center (C.C.A.S.) concerning access to sports for people in extreme poverty.
Dominique Estrosi-Sassone will have a significant portion of her deliberations concerning the National Program for the Requalification of Degraded Old Quarters (PNRQAD) Notre-Dame/Vernier/Thiers, as well as the Designation of the winner of the project management competition for the construction of a leisure and recreation center in the Moulins neighborhood.
