Since 2012, residents of Nice, people from the Côte d’Azur, and tourists have been able to reconnect with the tradition of the “Passagin”.
Building on its success and appeal, the Alpes-Maritimes Department is once again offering this service throughout the summer, which will ensure the connection between the Charles Felix dock and the Entrecasteaux quay.
In 2014, “lou Passagin” transported 36,209 passengers, averaging approximately 300 passengers per day.

The “Ratapignata”, the name of the Passagin, is also equipped with solar panels and can recharge at the quay. It has the advantage over diesel propulsion of not polluting and being completely silent.
It can transport four passengers, in addition to the pilot.
