The 18th edition of the meal for the elderly and volunteers, organized by the association “Enjoying Our Neighborhood – La Bornala – Magnan – Carlone,” took place at the Magnan Space.
This meal was organized to combat the isolation of the elderly in the neighborhood, and they came in numbers, with about fifty guests enjoying the specialties prepared by Chef Sauveur Inserra and his two assistants. The menu, featuring fish provided by the Reynaud company based at the Min of Nice, included a delectable chocolate fondant accompanied by 13 Provençal desserts as dessert.
This year again, Mrs. Nicole Venturelli, the association’s president, received support from the city of Nice, represented by Mrs. Catherine Chavepeyre, to ensure that the elderly in the neighborhood are not forgotten at Christmas. All the participants were widely applauded at the end of the meal and warmly thanked by the delighted guests.
