The Estrosi majority (including even its most “Ciottist” components) therefore unanimously voted for the Municipal Council’s resolution which – under the pretext of opposing the En-Nour mosque – ratifies the immediate allocation of a 500 m² municipal premises (at 43 Grenoble Road) to set up a mosque that will be co-managed by the local representation of the UOIF, an organization known as an emanation of the Muslim Brotherhood in our country.
Worse, these premises are only a temporary accommodation while a massive 1000 m² mosque is being built on a 3000 m² municipal land provided by Christian Estrosi in the Var plain.
In a city scarred by Islamist terrorism (let us remember that the jihadist of July 14 frequented the UOIF mosque in Nice North), this is a scandalous decision, a betrayal that will remain on the record of ALL the elected officials who compromised themselves by this vote. We will make sure to remind them, and to remind all the people of Nice.
The elected officials of the National Front, as demonstrated today in the Municipal Council, will oppose with all their might – and by all means, even legal ones – this new compromising by Christian Estrosi and his elected representatives with Islamism.
