Nice-Berlin Solidarity at the Théâtre Gag

Latest News

This Sunday, the 29th at 5 PM at the Francis Gag Theater, around twenty artists from Nice will come together for a show and an exhibition in support of the victims of the Berlin attack on December 19th.

Nice and Berlin… these two cities now share the suffering of having been affected by horrific terrorist acts. Berlin, a city long known for its creativity, is well-known to artists from Nice. Thus, around twenty of them are gathering on Sunday in solidarity with the Berliners, to show that art and culture are far stronger than hate.

Through theater, music, dance, readings, and an exhibition, the artists are making a call for love, tolerance, peace, and hope.

The show will be presented by the talented actor Marc Duret, who has notably appeared in The Big Blue and Luc Besson’s Nikita, and by Natja Igney, a German-American journalist based in Nice.

The proceeds from the event will be donated to the Victims of Crime Assistance Fund.
