The Emirates airline and the city of Nice are celebrating their 30 years of collaboration and friendship this Thursday, May 4.
Emirates is celebrating 30 years of flights to and from Nice this year. The A380, emblematic of the Emirates fleet, is back at the Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport to meet market demand and offer its customers better connectivity with Dubai and the rest of the world.
Cédric Renard, the General Manager of Emirates in France, states: “We are very proud to celebrate 30 years of Emirates operations in Nice and to be the only international airline serving the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region with the iconic Emirates A380. France is a strategic market for Emirates, and over the past three decades, our customers have been able to enjoy our company’s services, staying true to our brand promise ‘Fly Better.’”
The company offers a daily flight for a Nice-Dubai trip. The famous city in the United Arab Emirates is also a stopover city, allowing travelers to head towards Asia, which is very trendy these days, with a total of 140 commercial destinations offered worldwide.
Emirates aims for quality service
Offering quality service, with particular support for the local economy of the Alpes-Maritimes, the United Arab Emirates is France’s second partner. “A very balanced route offering luxury service with a premium clientele,” says Cédric Renard.
The Emirates airline also offers its services for cargo transportations, including essential oils, perfumes, automotive parts, and others. The General Manager of Emirates France, Cédric Renard, explains that facilities have been set up in Dubai to accommodate these products.
Significant investments in terms of fleet, notably in France for more weekly flights to meet the high demand. Starting in 2025, Emirates will produce 300 planes for long-haul flights. For this reason, Emirates is recruiting French candidates to join its crews. An open house day will be organized in Nice on February 14, 2024, at Novotel Nice Centre Vieux Nice, at 8-10 esplanade du parvis de l’Europe.
