The association Essor Riviera Karate is organizing the 15th edition of the Nice International Martial Arts Festival on Saturday, June 4th at 8 PM at Salle Leyrit – 15 Fornéro Ménei Street in Nice.

The evening is under the patronage of the city of Nice, the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, and the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee.

This event, which is the oldest in the region, is also the most recognized by martial arts athletes and federations. Indeed, the 15th international martial arts festival will bring together, in one evening, over 2,500 spectators and no fewer than 10 World Champions as well as European, French, and national team champions in disciplines that are as varied as they are spectacular.

On the program, a prestigious lineup:

The French Karate Kata Team, world vice-champion;
Hoang Nghi, world champion in Kung Fu;
Franck Samy, world champion in Acrobatic Karate;
Daniel Jean-Pierre, 6th Dan Aikido from Tokyo;
As well as champions in Viet Vo Dao, Thai Boxing, Sambo, Judo, Wrestling, Urban Self-defense, Full Contact, Krav-Maga, and many more surprises.

From 10 AM to 6 PM, the Festival will be preceded by the Riviera Challenge, a tournament of artistic and acrobatic martial arts bringing together the best French, Italian, and English athletes. Artistic martial arts, also known as AMA, were developed in the United States and blend traditional styles with acrobatic moves to create spectacular performances. Nice will become the meeting place for the most beautiful European martial and acrobatic performances.
