Last Friday, the journalism school in Nice, Nouvelles, hosted the official presentation of Nice Première along with many figures from the Niçoise community.
The inauguration allowed for a review of the first two months of online presence, during which the team’s projects regarding the evolution of the daily news for the City of Nice and its region were presented.
Some figures for these first two months include 40,000 visits, 100,000 page views, and an average visit duration of about 10 minutes.
The guest list was impressive, featuring from the political side, two Members of Parliament, Jérôme Rivière and Rudy Salles, the representative from the Nice City Hall, Mrs. Micheline Baus, Jean-François Knecht and Dominique Boy Mottard from the General Council, and Jean-Christophe Picard from the Radical Party of the Left.
From the world of sports, Virginie Rossetti, head of communications represented OGC Nice, while the Nice rectorate sent its communicator, Mrs. Jacqueline Quehen. Marie-Chantal Gomiz was present for the Casino Ruhl, Laurent Merengone for Toptimiz, Vivianne Costa for the Old Nice, Marie Suppa, a teacher at St Joseph Institute, and Claudette Bruno representing the Nice bishopric.
Nice Première warmly thanks all these individuals for attending this inauguration, which concluded with a luxurious Niçoise buffet where pissaladière, stuffed vegetables, and Swiss chard pie delighted the many guests.
Very soon, Nice Première will organize its first evening event, and we invite you to subscribe to our newsletter (if you haven’t done so already) to receive your invitation.
Thanks again to Audrey, Christophe, Nicolas, Vincent, Elsa, Sébastien for their work within the team.
