Nice Première: Why did you choose this profession?
Oksana: My thing is to expose myself, to show that sex is not boring. It’s the things that come from the heart. Love rhymes with humor, and we are here to laugh too. I’ve found my balance in sex. I want to be free, that’s truly the word. It annoys me to be someone’s possession.
NP: Do you have a favorite X actress?
Oksana: I’m a fan of Estelle Desanges. She’s a smart girl. She has a beautiful philosophy.
NP: Is there a danger in living in the world of hardcore?
Oksana: In a film, I am in complete control. Everyone has intimacy, but I have no modesty, no apprehension in front of the camera.
NP: And when you do a show?
Oksana: On stage, it’s a different sensation. I love the contact with the audience, the reactivity. It’s super motivating, super exciting. My profession is truly my passion. It’s relaxing, it changes your mind…
NP: Do you often sign autographs for the girls, aren’t they jealous?
Oksana: I am increasingly approached by girls. There’s no jealousy. On the contrary, they are thrilled to have my autograph. X stars have that unreachable side. Both girls and boys are very excited to meet me.
NP: How do your parents react?
Oksana: I have always been very independent, for example, in choosing my boyfriends. I won’t allow anyone to judge me. I can’t be blamed for what I love, who I am.
NP: Is France a puritan country?
Oksana: Absolutely. Except in the DOM-TOM. In the islands, I felt people were more liberated. In the mainland, there’s too much stress, too many stereotypes. I want to prove that a girl can be considered beautiful, even if she’s not a knockout.
NP: What do you do outside of your work?
Oksana: I love nature walks. I love adventure, discovery. I move around a lot, thinking we only have one life. Einstein said we use only 1% of our brain. I try to use all the rest. In the end, we know nothing. We have so much to learn.
NP: If your daughter told you she was going to become an X star…
Oksana: If one day I have a daughter and she tells me she wants to do X, I will only try to guide her to avoid mistakes. We can’t choose other people’s lives. I have always chosen my productions. Besides, doing X is not a shame.
NP: Is Oksana a stage name?
Oksana: Yes, I chose it because it combines sexiness and class.
NP: Why did you agree to be the godmother of Erotica?
Oksana: It’s a great opportunity. “Erotica Dream” is not just any show. There are a lot of people, a lot of light. I’ve seen horrible shows before, with three stands and two dancers…
NP: Are you ambitious?
Oksana: More curious actually. Money doesn’t interest me. But indeed, I want to know everything. In this sense, yes, I am ambitious.
NP: How do you see yourself in 10 years?
Oksana: I can’t predict. I don’t even know about tomorrow. For now, I’m comfortable in my skin. There are many girls who want to do cinema. I want to continue in X. I have a project in mind for next year – directing a film on Kama Sutra katas. There will be hardcore and an educational bonus. It’s incredible nowadays, but many people don’t know what a clitoris is.
NP: If you had to shoot with Clara Morgane?
Oksana: That would be a scoop and a real joy. I really like this girl.
NP: Is there jealousy in this profession?
Oksana: Yes. But also great solidarity. Last year, everyone rallied for a boy taken hostage in Guatemala. We function exactly like colleagues in a traditional company.
NP: Are there things that revolt you?
Oksana: Inside me, I am revolted against many things, such as hidden prostitution. I am for the reopening of brothels. There will be less pimping. As for me, I fight for sex not to be a taboo anymore. There are too many prohibitions. We are heavily censored, particularly by the CSA*. It’s a shame. The Mayor of Cannes, for example, refused to pose with me. He was afraid for his image. We are seen as if we were contagious. Yet, we know nothing about sex. And as long as there is censorship, things will be shady.
NP: So, is it set for Erotica 2007?
Oksana: If I’m given this opportunity, I’ll be back!
