On the Côte d’Azur, as of today, 25 companies have been selected by the OSEO business managers of the region to join the OSEO Excellence community. These are companies from the Var East and Alpes Maritimes departments.
They alone represent 3,292 jobs, which are expected to increase by nearly 30% within two years! Their combined turnover amounts to more than 446 million euros. They have filed 110 patents and own 120 subsidiaries, including 20 abroad.
At the national level, OSEO Excellence consists of 2,000 entrepreneurs. These are companies mainly in the industry and service sectors.
While the majority are more than 10 years old, a quarter are less than 5 years old. 88% are innovative, and 65% report exporting. They have filed a total of over 9,000 patents! This panel of companies has shown double-digit growth in its workforce and revenue in recent years. They currently represent a combined turnover of 46 billion euros and 315,000 employees.
