Volunteers from the association Les Blouses Roses will be present at the entrance of the Carrefour Nice Lingostière store this Saturday, October 5th. The retailer has been welcoming the association’s volunteers for the 14th consecutive year. The association aims to entertain patients of all ages in hospitals and elderly people in retirement homes.
The volunteers from the association will host a stand that will showcase both the actions of Les Blouses Roses and collect wellness products and supplies for children’s crafts at Lenval and L’Archet hospitals (soaps, slippers, socks, toothpaste, colored markers, drawing paper, notebooks, toys…).
Aside from fundraising, this awareness campaign will help the Nice branch of Les Blouses Roses recruit new volunteers, currently numbering about a hundred.
In 2012, thanks to the partnership with Carrefour, over €30,000 were raised for Les Blouses Roses, not counting materials such as toys or stationery useful for the networks of 67 committees in France!
In total, 44 Carrefour hypermarkets and 37 Carrefour Market supermarkets will host activities from the local branches of Les Blouses Roses in France.
