“Why should I deprive my city of Sophie Duez’s contribution? She is a talented actress who has a true vision for her city,” declared Christian Estrosi. Without replacing Muriel Marland-Militello, the deputy for culture, Sophie Duez will lead the committee on the renovation of the old slaughterhouses. This is a large-scale project dedicated to cultural creations and artistic experiments.

“I accept the presidency of this committee of experts. I will have a role as a volunteer mediator,” responded Sophie Duez, city councilor, to Christian Estrosi. “I am sensitive to the suffering that hides behind facades.
