Street Artists: Call for Applications to Perform in Public Spaces for the Year 2020

In order to avoid sometimes overwhelming situations, the City Council has established a simplified system to ensure fair treatment of street artists wishing to perform within the tourist excellence perimeter that mainly covers the entire city center and the Promenade des Anglais.

This system aims to maintain a balance between respecting public tranquility and the artists’ freedom of expression.

Practical conditions for performing in each space are also provided in the municipal decree, such as: not obstructing traffic and store entrances, adhering to the schedule and changing locations every 2 hours, and not engaging in sales.

A nominative municipal decree is issued to the artists.
