Université Côte d’Azur extends the possibilities for pre-registration in the DAEU work-study program. Candidates without a high school diploma can now submit their application until September 30, 2026.

A few extra days to apply. Université Côte d’Azur is keeping pre-registrations open for the Diploma of Access to University Studies (DAEU) in work-study until September 30, 2026.

The program is aimed at people who do not have a high school diploma and wish to resume their studies, train for a profession, or prepare for certain category B administrative exams.

The DAEU gives access to a diploma equivalent to a high school diploma. The program combines the consolidation of basic knowledge with professional experience in a company. Several professions in the tertiary sector are involved, including reception officer, accounting assistant, administrative officer, sales agent, or personal care assistant.

An alternation between the university and the company

The program includes two days at the training facility and three days at the company. Professional immersion is also organized during school holidays and summer.

The program runs from September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027. The work-study can be done with an apprenticeship contract or a paid professional development contract.

For candidates, the program allows them to prepare a diploma equivalent to a high school diploma while gaining professional experience. Continuing studies in higher education is also possible.

Companies, for their part, can train a work-study student in their methods and needs. The program can also help build a long-term professional relationship and prepare for future recruitment.

Several meetings are still offered in Alpes-Maritimes to present the DAEU work-study program. A meeting is scheduled Friday, September 11, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Menton Local Employment Agency, at 67 avenue Cernuschi. The Work-Study Forum from CAP to Master’s 2 will then be held on Monday, September 14, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at France Travail Nice Centre, rue Berlioz.

Two other meetings are scheduled for Thursday, September 24 in Carros, for the Senior Employment Forum “Experience Has No Age,” then Thursday, October 1 at Nice L’Ariane, on the occasion of the Employment Forum.

Interested parties must complete their pre-registration by email to daeu@univ-cotedazur.fr before September 30, 2026.

In Nice, in-person classes take place on the Saint-Jean d’Angély campus. Distance learning options are also available for the DAEU, with programs adapted to different candidate profiles.

Upcoming meetings with the DAEU team

The teaching team will be present at several job forums – training forums or at mobile information stands, particularly during work-study Thursdays in partnership with France Travail and the Menton local employment agency:
