The Grimaldi Hotel hosts the exhibition “Festivals” by Olivier Huitel from May 2 to August 31. This exhibition traces his 10 years of experience as a photographer for the festival and showcases his best shots.
This year, to pay tribute to the 77th edition of the Cannes Festival, the Le Grimaldi Hotel invites you to discover the “Festivals” exhibition in its heart. It’s an invitation to walk the red carpet of the Cannes Festival in Nice. A stroll through the lounges of the Le Grimaldi Hotel, starting in the lobby and extending to the breakfast room, passing through the patio.
Why black and white?
In total, there are 25 photographs on display. 25 photographs of cinema legends such as Brad Pitt, Scarlett Johansson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Martin Scorsese, Julia Roberts, Michael Douglas, and many others. All the photos are in black and white, giving a very mysterious and poetic aspect to the shots. Olivier Huitel states that he chose black and white “for its timeless nature” and his “taste for deep black” that gives the impression of his photos. This enhances the emotion and will surely leave no one indifferent.
To discover this exhibition, head to the lobby of the Le Grimaldi Hotel at 15 Rue Grimaldi in Nice.
