“We are very happy to join the Community of Communes of the Pays des Paillons, particularly because we share a certain way of living,” expressed gratitude Stéphane Sainsaulieu, mayor of
Peille.
“The inauguration of Peille is an additional enrichment for our community, which today is composed of 12 communes,” commented Francis Tujague, president of the Community of Communes of the Pays des Paillons.

During the community council on April 14, Joël Gosse, mayor of
Bendejun, was elected vice-president of the Community of Communes of the Pays des Paillons, in charge of intercommunal sports and cultural facilities.
The administrative accounts were unanimously approved. “With 3.5% of operating costs, 25% for waste, 13% for youth, 20% for investment, we have managed to allocate 40% to the communes with a surplus of 290,000 euros,” summarized Francis Tujague.
In 2010, projects such as the football stadium in Drap, the multi-reception facilities in L’Escarène and Blausasc, the multipurpose hall in Drap, and the waste disposal facility will be launched.
