This partnership project, valued at 84 million euros, with joint oversight by the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Habitat 06, is supported by the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, the Alpes-Maritimes Department, the City of Nice, and the state. Labeled as a “Future Investment Program,” the Campus Sud des Métiers has been identified as a priority development, addressing the needs of businesses with training programs connected to local jobs and adapted to future professions.

The resumption of construction work this Monday, April 20, represented an economic commitment as well as a technical engagement that was made possible thanks to the work done within the construction industry branch by professional federations, companies, and the OPPBTP (Professional Organization for the Prevention of Building and Public Works).

For Jean-Pierre Savarino, President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce: “The resumption of work will be gradual, and the conditions for restarting have been developed with all stakeholders.”

Located in the heart of the Nice Méridia urban technology park and the Eco-Valley, on an area of 24,200 m², the Campus Sud des Métiers will host, by 2021, 2,500 apprentices from vocational training certificates to engineering school.
