The EDHEC in Nice enters the Presidential race

Latest News

Since February 2006, EDHEC has established a research team in economics focused on the assessment of public policies and state reform. The goal of this team is to enable EDHEC to have academic recognition and expertise on strategic themes for the French economy and businesses.

The approach of this center is to propose realistic reform paths for France. In this regard, EDHEC has decided to intervene in the presidential campaign by proposing two major measures likely to promote employment:

– The “single contract”, designed as a Permanent Contract that secures economic dismissal for the company
– A new form of VAT that increases the purchasing power of workers and encourages a return to employment.

A conference debate will be presented by Noël Amenc, Professor, Director of Research at EDHEC, and hosted by Arnaud Chéron, University Professor and Director of Research at EDHEC, on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the EDHEC premises in Nice.
