The European Movement promotes a citizens’ consultation for high school students: What is your Europe?

Latest News

Two Citizen Consultations on Europe with high school students from general and vocational education, from departments 06 and 83, are organized by the European Movement of Alpes Maritimes and the Nice Academy in partnership with the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis and the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).

They will take place this Tuesday at the NICE Rectorate at 9:30 AM and Thursday at the CCI NCA at 1:30 PM.

For Odile Menozzi, president of the European Movement of Alpes-Maritimes: “A consultation is a time for exchange on Europe that prioritizes citizen expression and its feedback. It is open to all, transparent, non-partisan, and participatory. We want to hear your point of view,” she declared, symbolically addressing the students’ request.

“What are your expectations and disappointments, your proposals and desires, what you like and what you like less in the European Union today? What is your Europe?”

Thursday’s session at the CCI will be an opportunity for 100 students from Première and Terminale from across the department to engage* with Philippe Soussi, Deputy Mayor of the City of Nice for European Affairs, and Hervé Moritz, President of the Young Europeans – France.
