The International Perfume Museum inaugurates on Saturday, September 17th at 5:30 PM, during the European Heritage Days, three events:
1 โ The 18th Century Rooms:
Opening of the 2 rooms exhibiting perfumery objects from the 18th century (level 0 โ Pontevรจs).
2 โ The “scented concert” created by pianist-composer Laurent ASSOULEN (MUSISCent) in collaboration with perfumer Guillaume FLAVIGNY (Givaudan), materialized in the form of an “Olfactive-Musical Terminal”. Listen while Scentingโฆ (level -1).
3 โ “Birth of Bottles: from Fiction to Reality” (Room 18 โ From the Glassmaker to the Designer):
The International Perfume Museum holds in its collections numerous studies, sketches, or bottle projects created by designers from the early 20th century. These bottles were ultimately never produced. They remained as studies.
To support the narrative of the beginnings of design in the early 20th century, the International Perfume Museum engaged a 3D graphic designer, Fairview-studio 3D, and a digital resin 3D printing company, ARRK โ LCO โ PROTOMOULE, to bring these bottles back to life.
