The mayor of Nice has regained the presidency of the municipal police advisory commission, a position he previously held between 2011 and 2016.
As the sole candidate, he was elected by seven votes out of sixteen, with nine blank ballots.
This commission, which gathers representatives from the State, the Association of Mayors of France (AMF), and unions, is responsible for reviewing texts related to the profession and making reform proposals. It is expected to play a key role in the necessary developments in the co-production of security.
