After the legal dispute with the Russian Federation over the ownership of the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas, the many Orthodox believers who remained loyal to the ACOR association and spiritually connected to the Patriarchate of Constantinople instead of Moscow have returned to the path of liturgy, even though in an environment that is not ideal for them.
But making the best of a bad situation, in the words of their priest Father Jean, there is a desire to move beyond legal constraints to focus on the practice of faith.

“Dear brothers and sisters, dear friends,
We are pleased to announce that during the period when our church on Rue Longchamp will be closed for renovations, the management of Sasserno College is kindly welcoming us to use the premises of the school chapel on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings.
This place seems very suitable for spending a few months together in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Moreover, it is located only a few hundred meters from Rue Longchamp.
Access will be through the service entrance (gray door) located on Rue des Prés: from the main gate (1, Place Sasserno), you need to go around the buildings to the left.
The schedule will remain the same: vigils at 6 PM, and liturgy at 10 AM. We propose that we gather there starting from Saturday, January 14, and Sunday, January 15.
The organization of services and celebrations that will take place on weekdays (Theophany, the Presentation of the Lord, Lenten and Holy Week services) is not yet arranged, but the telephone chain set up on January 1 will allow us to provide you with information as quickly as possible.
Wishing you a very Merry and Happy Nativity of our Lord, with blessings,
Father Jean”
