At Vertical Blue, currently taking place in the Bahamas, freediving has once again delivered an exceptional performance.
Following the world record by Marseillais Arnaud Jerald with a dive to 117 meters in constant weight bi-fins, France and the PACA Region have once again celebrated a victory.
Indeed, at the same event, at Vertical Blue, the most famous freediving competition, the Nice native Alice Modolo set a new world record. In three minutes and six seconds, the member of the Nice club Chango-Diving completed a dive to 96 meters in constant weight bi-fins. Last year, the Frenchwoman had already distinguished herself with a world record at 95 meters.
Until now, the record was held by Jennifer Wendland (2020). The Frenchwoman did even better than a year ago when she had already distinguished herself with a world record at 95 meters.
