The partnership as a modern concept of security for Patrick Allemand

Latest News

“For three consecutive years, the city of Nice has been at the bottom of the safety rankings,” says Patrick Allemand, describing the situation as paradoxical since, according to him, the current mayor, Jacques Peyrat, is a former member of the National Front, a party whose priority is addressing insecurity. Allemand argues that this insecurity underscores the failure of the right. “It’s very easy to drop the violence statistics in neighborhoods if you manipulate the outcomes.”

The candidate refers to the words of Rudy Salles, the deputy of the 3rd district of the Alpes-Maritimes, concerning the fight against delinquency. Nice ranks 39th in the list for solving crimes and offenses.

Patrick Allemand explains that the right’s approach to safety is outdated. Moreover, he points out that there are not enough police stations and consequently, not enough staff to maintain order. He believes the solution lies in partnership.

A Program Based on Partnership

“The UMP’s project is to replace neighborhood police stations, essential for effective and reality-based community policing, with two large stations: one in Auvare in the East and one in St Augustin in the West.” The triad of prevention, deterrence, and repair is envisioned by the “Change of Era” party to alter the situation. This involves forming partnerships with various structures.

Firstly: Creating a partnership with the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes to develop targeted prevention and enhance the presence of specialized educators in neighborhoods. “There are not enough educators in the suburbs. There should be more mediators close to the youth.”

Secondly: Building an alliance with the national police, which is supposed to serve all citizens. He notes that this force tends to be stigmatized by many people when it should be the opposite. He emphasizes the need for collaboration between police and nighttime mediators, as this relay is necessary for residents of neighborhoods to coexist in peace and security. He plans to increase the number of municipal police night shifts by seven times between 10 PM and 4 AM, with the immediate creation of 50 public security officers.

Thirdly: Partnering with the Judicial Institution to obtain appropriate responses to incivilities. He intends to rely on this, using local justice antennas to develop a part of his project, repair.

Finally, the last point of his campaign is the elimination of graffiti, similar to the approach in the town of Cagnes-sur-Mer. Patrick Allemand wishes to enable the people of Nice to experience a change of era… by getting a breath of fresh air.
