The police officers in Nice protest against the remarks made by their supervising Minister.

A few dozen police officers from Nice, organized by their unions, specifically the Alliance union, gathered at Place Masséna: they placed their handcuffs on the ground to express their frustration with the accusations of violence directed at them, which they deny.

The announcements from the Minister of the Interior raise questions: “Zero tolerance for every confirmed suspicion of racist acts or comments, enhanced checks, and a ban on the arrest technique known as ‘chokehold.’”
