The project for the redevelopment of the Promenade des Anglais, between the Jardin Albert 1er and Boulevard Gambetta, is beginning to take shape.
The aim is to improve the safety of pedestrians and cyclists by creating a dedicated bicycle lane and to enhance the Promenade des Anglais, for which an application to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site has been submitted.
Continuing from the redevelopment of the Quai des Etats-Unis, the first phase of work on the requalification of the south sidewalk of the Promenade des Anglais has been completed.
The work will now continue up to Boulevard Gambetta to finalize this first section by mid-2016.
The work will be completed in June 2016.
