The powerful “armada” of Christian Estrosi flexed its muscles and puffed out its chest during the presentation of the Committee supporting the outgoing mayor’s candidacy: hailing from the associative, sports, cultural, and social fields, they all answered the call.
Everyone came “freely,” as Christian Estrosi eagerly noted, not without satisfaction. Because it’s enough to read their names (listed below) and their professional positions, or even their associative affiliations, to understand that a nod to his decision-making power was likely not entirely unrelated to certain vocations.
In short, considering this local, massive, and targeted enlistment, one wonders who will still support Christian Estrosi’s opponents, who also have the blessing of two Catholic religious leaders! There are signs that cannot be ignored…
Moreover, he has set up a vast network that allows him to manage a powerful and efficient web. When you see, at the forefront, representatives of public institutions that should exhibit neutrality (and at minimum discretion), you can assess the full impact. In this regard, the cleverness of the president of UPE06 was appreciated, who supported candidate Estrosi as a simple entrepreneur.
The rest of the evening was nothing more than a series of praises and declarations of loyalty (sometimes in a somewhat overly Hollywood style) that confirm the forecast of a two-speed electoral campaign: Smooth sailing for the incumbent and a frantic race for his rivals who have a significant gap to close.
Christian Estrosi, visibly satisfied, positioned himself as a unifier and generously sought to include all his supporters in this “collective pride.”
Unless there is a surprise, on March 30, the Mayor of Nice will once again be him, and that’s something that cannot be shared!
