A school revision course is organized from December 26 to 30, 2006 in Nice (06).
This course is aimed at students from Primary, Middle School, High School, and Higher Education.

Contest on the Theme
“Scenarios Against Discrimination”
For a civic discourse on combating discrimination related to differences, a short film contest is organized on the theme “Scenarios Against Discrimination”.
Participants must present individually or in teams original script ideas to make films of 2 to 4 minutes maximum.
Two categories are proposed:
• under 18 years old
• over 18 years old.
Each typed entry must include:
• the title of the work
• a statement of intent (maximum one page)
• a script specifying the course of action and character behavior (maximum 4 pages).
Prizes will be awarded to the 300 winning projects (video camera, DVD…).
The deadline for submission of applications is
February 28, 2007.

Professional Training for Hotel Agent
A professional training for Hotel Agent is organized from January 8 to May 22, 2007 in Nice (06).
This training is open to the public and will cover:
• Discovery of the hotel landscape
• Techniques and procedures regarding room, bathroom, and common area maintenance
• Hygiene and safety
• Knowledge and management of linens
• Setup, organization, and order taking for the breakfast service
• Floral decoration
• Oral expression: French and English
• Professional placement.
An information day will take place on December 14, 2006.

Free Legal Consultations
Are you a minor experiencing legal difficulties?
The Regional Youth Information Center Côte d’Azur, in collaboration with the Departmental Council for Access to Law (CDAD), organizes free legal consultations for minors.
A legal specialist (lawyer) is available to you every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the CRIJ Côte d’Azur, 19 rue Gioffredo in Nice.
You will be received in full confidentiality, receive answers to your questions, and be guided in your procedures.
Moreover, the Regional Youth Information Center Côte d’Azur provides you with the list of all free legal consultations (for all audiences) offered in the departments of Alpes-Maritimes and Var.
