A Tibetan folk song says: “Dance in the infinitely immense and vast sky” and “Dance like the unyielding high mountains.”

With a history of 5,000 years, China boasts a culture rich in diversity and ethnic variety.

Nice will have the opportunity to appreciate the dancers from the Beijing Dance Academy, who will perform nine traditional Chinese dances in a unique and free show, featuring picturesque costumes and magnificent adornments.

Nine dances representing nine Chinese provinces, with evocative names like “A Leaf” or “Lotus Flower.”

Traditional Chinese dances are the dialogue of humanity with the sky, the earth, and the divine beings, and reflect the different styles that have evolved over the centuries, each carrying the unique characteristics of their tradition.

These dances include movements inspired by stories and legends passed down among the people, where historical figures expressed society’s respect for wisdom, morality, loyalty, compassion, kindness, and virtue.

The Beijing Dance Academy is a prestigious dance institution, where the renowned actress Zhang Zi Yi was trained.
