The last relay runner to cross the finish line around 3:30 PM will be Jeff Tordo, former captain of the French Rugby team. He will be joined, on the last kilometer, by about 450 youths from neighborhood associations in Nice, municipal leisure centers, and Jules Romain middle school, who have mobilized for this adventure titled: “The Youth Celebrate Nice’s Bid for the 2018 Winter Olympics.”
They will have the chance to participate in numerous activities dedicated to them at the resort (sledding, snow sculpting, hockey, scavenger hunt).
Isola 2000 resort will take over at night, featuring a torchlight descent in the colors of Nice 2018 carried out by ESF instructors, which will be accompanied by a fireworks display.
Throughout the day, all participants at the resort will be engaged in an Olympic Day in the spirit of Nice 2018.
