The city of Nice welcomes the French handball and volleyball teams.

Latest News

For the first time, the city of Nice is hosting two international matches on its soil, and the guests are of high caliber with the French Handball team, World Champions and reigning Olympic Champions, and the French Volleyball team who will face Argentina in the World League, just three days after having played them in Lyon. For “the experts”, it will be a chance to qualify for Euro 2010 as the French team tries to secure a win against Portugal. In a qualifying group, the French will cross paths with Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, and Latvia before heading to the Mediterranean Games.

Two great events for the city of Nice, which is (finally!) coming alive again with the rhythm of sport in the wake of an Olympic bid that nearly reached great heights and projects such as hosting the world figure skating championships or the European gymnastics championship.
