For the very first time, this Friday, July 20th, the tramway car will not stop at Boyer Square to turn around, but will continue its tests up to Armée du Rhin Square, in the presence of Master Jacques Peyrat, Senator-Mayor of Nice and President of the Urban Community.
On the occasion of this exceptional crossing, during which the tramway will cover 2/3 of the total route of line 1 (8.7 km), the Nice Côte d’Azur Urban Community warmly invites residents to attend the tests of crossing Masséna and Garibaldi squares, without the overhead electrical lines*.
The program:
10:30 AM: Passage of the car at Liberation Square.
11:30 AM: Stop at Masséna Station (between the arcades), meeting point proposed to the press and residents, followed by the crossing of Masséna Square.
12:15 PM: Crossing of Garibaldi Square.
1:00 PM: Arrival at Armée du Rhin Square (end of the route).
2:00 PM: Start of the return towards the Maintenance Center.
