Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease in Nice

Latest News

With 225,000 new cases each year, Alzheimer’s disease has become a national issue through the Alzheimer Plan 2008-2012 launched by the President of the Republic.

As a pilot city in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, the city of Nice and the Memory Resources and Research Center (CMRR) are constantly researching to improve the living conditions of patients, study this still poorly understood disease, and provide answers to patients and their families.

Alzheimer’s disease: After the diagnosis, what should be done? How to live with an affected loved one? What responses will the future Claude Pompidou Institute provide?

These are some of the questions to which the city of Nice, the Nice University Hospital (CHU), the Claude Pompidou Foundation, France Alzheimer ACA 06, and Mutualité Française PACA will offer responses on Wednesday, November 24th.

Professor Robert, head of the CMRR at the Nice University Hospital, and Simone Riff, president of the France – Alzheimer 06 Association, will speak on the issue of the disease and the support of patients and their families.

Wednesday, November 24th from 6 PM to 8 PM
Parish hall of the Jeanne d’Arc church – Caroline Street in Nice
