In 2012, the Centre Universitaire Méditerranéen of the City of Nice is offering a series of “controversial meetings”.
Hosted by Denis Tillinac, a French writer, editor, and journalist known for the “Dictionnaire amoureux du catholicisme” published by Plon in 2011, these new events will feature a dialogue with renowned journalists such as Elisabeth Lévy, Jean-François Kahn, and Eric Zemmour, aimed at questioning them on the meaning of the words responsibility and truth for today’s media.
More than ever, the media are at the heart of current events. Journalists are considered key players in the information landscape of our society. The professional and relational constraints they face also highlight the main pitfalls of modern journalism, and new information networks such as the Internet accelerate and amplify the challenges of practicing the profession of information.
Eric Naulleau is a publisher, author, literary critic, and television and radio host. Since September 2010, he has been hosting the show “ça balance à Paris” on Paris Première. He also co-presents “Zemmour et Naulleau” with Eric Zemmour and holds a literary column on RTL.
