The Innovation Loan and pre-financing of the Research Tax Credit will support innovation and strengthen the attractiveness of the region.
The Public Investment Bank (BPI) has announced two measures in support of innovation, which can directly benefit innovative companies heavily represented in the Alpes-Maritimes sites:
Launch of the Innovation Loan (PPI): distributed by the BPI, this 7-year loan (repayable from the third year), for an amount between €30,000 and €1,500,000, will cover the material and immaterial expenses of innovative companies related to the industrialization and marketing of their innovation. The purpose of this loan is to facilitate the transition from an R&D phase to the regular industrial production of an innovation.
Opening of pre-financing for the Research Tax Credit (CIR).
The pre-financing of the CIR by the BPI will allow SMEs to have a cash flow advance to cover their Research & Development expenses from the year they incur them. The BPI can either guarantee the banks that will provide the pre-financing or provide this pre-financing itself.
