The Sport Caravan, which traveled throughout the summer across the Alpes-Maritimes department, is developing a new dynamic by getting closer to the Urban Cities.
In line with its actions in favor of youth and its desire to offer sports practice in the Urban Sensitive Zones (ZUS), the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee 06 is organizing the second step of “The Sport Caravan enters the city” this Thursday, March 6th at the “The Stadium,” 112 Route de Grenoble.
Following the great success of the 2013 summer tour among the department’s youth, Philippe MANASSERO, President of the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee of the Alpes Maritimes, and his management team wish to amplify this completely free event and give it a new dimension throughout the year by entering the popular neighborhoods.
A first step has already been successfully carried out on December 23, 2013, in Nice, in the Saint Roch district, allowing the youth to benefit on the one hand from the municipal sports facilities and on the other hand, from the diversity of sports offered by the Sport Caravan through the departmental committees.
An exceptional Patron will brighten this Nice stage in the person of the Full Contact World Champion Jรฉrรดme ARDISSONE, who will be present throughout the day and will present his world champion belt to all the young people present. A signing session will also take place.
At all our events, a “Red card to violence” stand, animated by Elodie Cratรจre, in civic service at the CDOS 06, allows communication about respect in sports through communication visuals, quizzes in the form of games, charters signing, and the distribution of “Fair-play” cards to children and parents.
