The music of Glenn Miller has definitively influenced the history of music, particularly due to his original way of understanding and interpreting swing, with pieces such as Moonlight Serenade, American Patrol, Chattanooga Choo Choo, In the Mood, and String of Pearls.
Formed in 1998 in England, the GLENN MILLER ORCHESTRA perpetuates the Glenn Miller style and lineup imagined by the musician: a conductor, a melodic section composed of saxophones, trumpets, and trombones, a rhythm section including a bass, a piano, and a drum, and two voices, one male and one female. Its repertoire consists of more than 200 pieces, mostly from the artistโs original repertoire. Prestigious names such as Jerry Gray, Billy May, and Bill Finegan, among others, have contributed to the international fame of the Orchestra.
At the intersection between jazz and dance music, the Glenn Miller Orchestra will offer a return to the 1940s, a return to the golden age of big bands.
