Valberg will be celebrating all day for the feast of Notre-Dame des Neiges.
This Sunday, August 3rd, the Patronal Feast of Notre-Dame des Neiges will be celebrated in the presence of Eric Ciotti, President of the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, and Charles-Ange Ginesy, Deputy Mayor of Péone.
Program:
11:15 am: laying of wreaths in front of the Resistance Stele and speeches in the Mercantour Gardens;
1:00 pm: awarding of the Departmental Medal to Romain Huleu-Feron in the Mercantour Gardens
This young athlete, aged nine, already has several titles to his name: Departmental Champion in 2012 and 2013, Regional League Champion in 2013. Last May, in his first participation in the French Cup, Romain won the competition.
2:30 pm: handing over of the keys for three new rescue and victim assistance vehicles (VSAV) to the fire stations of Péone (Valberg), Beuil, and Guillaumes, at Charles Ginesy Square, in the presence of Colonel Patrick Bauthéac, Director of SDIS 06. This key handover will be followed by the firefighters’ brass band.
