In the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (Paca) region, the number of job seekers required to look for a job and without activity (category A) stands at 321,050. This number is stable over three months. It has increased by 0.3% over one month and decreased by 0.5% over one year.
The long-hoped-for downturn in the unemployment curve is slow to materialize. In June, the number of job seekers without any activity (category A) increased by 5,400 in metropolitan areas, reaching nearly 3.526 million, a rise of 0.2%, according to the statistics released this Tuesday by the Ministry of Labor and Pôle emploi.
The unemployment rate is 10.2%.
Monthly changes are at +0.2% in the Alpes-Maritimes. It is -1.2% over the quarter.
