The Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis continues its commitment to restructuring wastewater treatment on its territory, with the Levens treatment plant that processes domestic effluents from the Rivet and Gumba neighborhoods.
After it was commissioned in 1977, it was necessary to undertake a rehabilitation and extension program for this plant to better address new environmental challenges and the ambitions of the municipality.
Furthermore, this plant will allow for the treatment of waste materials and external sludge from the treatment plants of Saint-Blaise and Duranus.
This project, with an expected duration of 15 months and a total cost of €3,691,645 excluding taxes, funded by the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis with a grant from the Water Agency, will notably increase the plant’s capacity from 3,000 population equivalents to 6,350.
