Kenyan Kiptum Barnabas wins the Nice – Cannes marathon in 2h10min44sec.
He had led the race from start to finish in 2014 only to falter at the end and end up in second place. He thus takes his revenge in a resounding manner.

The spectacle was also outside the race, along the course, with thousands of spectators coming in great numbers to encourage and support these heroes of the day.
After the winner Barnabas KIPTUM, his Kenyan compatriot, Victor KIPCHIRCHIR finished in second place with a time of 2h12‘23“.
Notably, on the French side, was the performance of the first local runner, François HOLZERNY, in 2h22‘53‘‘, in excellent form today.
