From today until October 26th, the CinéRoman Festival, a film festival of movies adapted from novels, is part of the centenary celebration of the Victorine Studios and is also within the framework of “Nice 2019. The Odyssey of Cinema.”
The opening ceremony will be held at 7:15 PM at the Pathé Gare du Sud cinema, preceding the premiere of Yvan Attal’s film “My Stupid Dog.”
For four days, events will take place at the Pathé Gare du Sud cinema, the Nice Cinematheque, and L’Artistique (on Dubouchage street) for numerous screenings, masterclasses, debates, readings, and meetings.
In total, 36 screenings and 20 films will be offered: Eight films selected for the award of the best film of the year adapted from a novel (Jury President: Frédéric Beigbeder); Four premiere films presented each evening of the festival; Eight cult films based on novels.
