In his campaign headquarters in Nice, Philippe Vardon held a conference this Tuesday during which he unveiled his localist list supported by the National Rally and the Popular Right as part of the senatorial elections.
“A strong and free voice to defend our territories,” can be seen displayed prominently on the wall of Philippe Vardon’s campaign headquarters. The vice-president of the RN group at the Regional Council of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur announced his localist list for the upcoming elections.
Vardon’s Positioning
Facing his competitor, the current mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, Philippe Vardon criticizes the Estrosi-Sassone list which, according to him, only aims to “defend their interests and certainly not those of our towns and villages.”
Convinced that the “grand electors” of the Alpes-Maritimes reject the idea that the five senatorial seats of the department will be swept up by the Estrosist list, the candidate claims that his party and his list have the means to counter the Estrosi-Sassone list.
In opposition to “Macronist globalism,” the capture of financial resources, problems related to Islamism and the consequences of mass immigration, Philippe Vardon, determined to go all the way, asserts that he and his team are set “to conduct this battle seriously.”
