As part of the State’s Call for Projects in the “Innovative Educational Territories” investment program for the future, the Alpes-Maritimes Department° is applying for the opening of a Connected Campus in Puget-Théniers from September next year.

This town benefits from a strategic location that makes it one of the main administrative centers of the mountainous western region of Alpes-Maritimes.

According to Charles-Ange Ginésy, president of the departmental council: “I hope the application will be definitively approved by the beginning of March. Young people and professionals undergoing career changes, who are distant from urban university hubs but also deeply attached to rural areas, will be able to follow a wide range of qualifying courses. The first students will be welcomed as early as the 2021 academic year.”
