This afternoon at the “Nice Facile” counter, the 30 seniors who participated in the “level 3” memory workshops in recent months will receive their diploma.
The Memory Workshops program is free, aimed at Nice seniors aged 65 and over, to stimulate memory, delay the onset of Alzheimer’s disease, or prevent its worsening.
The content of these Memory Workshops uses techniques and exercises designed to stimulate the entire cognitive sphere, but they also serve to reassure participants about minor everyday cognitive difficulties, promote socialization, and reactivate self-esteem.
Since the creation of these memory workshops, more than 600 seniors from Nice have been able to benefit from this program free of charge.
