The French Building Federation obtained very clear commitments from the Minister of the Economy as early as mid-June, and then from the Prime Minister, in favor of maintaining the reduced VAT rates for the construction sector.
Since January 2014, the reduced VAT rate has been 5.5% for energy renovation work and 10% for other works.
