During the municipal council meeting on November 23, Deputy Mayor Veronique Paquis presented the results of the annual report on the state of sustainable development.
Overall, the measures in the field of ecology received positive feedback, with a project involving geothermal energy being notably addressed by Veronique Paquis. The opposition did not fail to react by pointing out the absence of mention of solar energy and projects to exploit it.
The deputy defended herself by explaining that ideas involving solar energy were under study. The topic of the spread of rats was also raised by the opposition, but the mayor’s supporters reminded everyone that eradication interventions were being conducted regularly. Emphasis was placed on the importance of informing citizens from an educational perspective to prevent a rat proliferation.
